Best Day Ever
My best day ever was on June 18 1940. This was the day that I made the speech over the BBC radio to the French people urging them to resist German control and not to trust the Vichy regime. My attempt of getting more people to fight for their country despite already surrendering payed off as the Free French Forces got more popular and more support from the people.
Worst Day Ever
My worst day ever was on April 23, 1943, the day that I was almost killed.I was going to fly over to Scotland to inspect our Free French Navy, except on our takeoff, the planes tail fell off and we would have crashed straight into the ground if it wasn't for the amazing flying skills of our pilot. It was supposedly just a faulty airplane piece but I had no doubt in my mind that someone was trying to murder me.
